Lighting & Rendering Artist, TD

FATface is looking for Lighting & Rendering Artists of junior, intermediate and advanced levels.

Junior level

  • Having basic knowledge of 3D Maya, Arnold
  • Having basic knowledge of a node-based compositing system (Nuke)
  • Understanding of basic color space, shading, lighting, and rendering methodologies is preferable
  • Having desire to learn detailed of color space, shading, lighting, and rendering
    methodologies
  • Being able to develop good observation and analysis skills
  • Being able to collaboratively with team head and team members
  • Being able to meet tight deadlines
  • Having passion in Texture and Surfacing
  • Positive and can-do attitude

Intermediate level or above

  • Having knowledge of 3D Maya, Arnold
  • Having solid experience in creating in lighting photo-real CG in Maya and Arnold for
    at least 3 years or above in vfx feature film industry or TV Commercial
  • Having knowledge of a node-based compositing system (Nuke)
  • Understanding of color space, shading, lighting, and rendering methodologies
  • Having desire to learn detailed of color space, shading, lighting, and rendering
    Methodologies
  • Having a good eye for details and artistic and technical abilities
  • Being able to develop good observation and analysis skills
  • Being able to collaboratively with team head and team members
  • Being able to meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of MEL and/or Python for scripting and tool development is a plus
  • Knowledge of Houdini is a plus
  • Having passion in Texture and Surfacing
  • Positive and can-do attitude
